Jammin' to a New Beat
Bonne Maman jams have always had a familiar look and coziness to its packaging. However, it did not have much differentiation between its products, and its labels were not entirely legible. Those were the qualities we focused on as we created a new packaging for the jam jars.

This project started with each group members separately searching on the internet and in local grocery stores. Each member did research in a different category of foods in the grocery store.
With ideas in our minds and research done, we started on creating a new packaging design for Bonne Maman that reflected its quality of nostalgia, family, and stability. For our redesigns, we decided to explore two main ideas: Art Nouveau and Modern.
After going through many iterations and ideas, we decided on one design that would fit our perception of what Bonne Maman should express. We created a brighter splash of colour in the illustrations, a more clear hierarchy in type, and a unique look that stands out against competitors.
